The Hollow Kiss is a terrific first-in-series for an exiting new paranormal YA series. After graduation, adulthood sneaks up on Dray in the worst way when she gets cursed with a killing magic talent. At first it seems like she’ll have to navigate this new world of fae and sinister magic alone, but new friends show up to help out despite the steep cost.

I loved Dray’s other unique magic—a talent for mixing a mean cocktail. Who wouldn’t want that talent? I also enjoyed the array of powerful fae and supernatural beings that fill Dray’s new world. If you like found-family stories with rich magic systems and tons of action, you’ll love The Hollow Kiss. I reviewed this from an ARC.
