three stars! *:･ﾟ✧ i’m so conflicted with this book, dear lord :3 like, i did enjoy reading it, but it also felt like watching a train wreck and i simply could not look away? i was not a fan of the writing- everything was so blunt and there was no real substance to it? and while i did like the romance, i was not a fan of the cheating element. and i also felt like the major event at the end of the book was simply unnecessary. like, yeah, i cried, but it felt like it was just a way of ensuring a second book, i think. idk. like i said, very conflicted. i’ll still probably read the second book, bc why not

My heart hurts…I’m pretty sure I felt every emotion involved with this book; there were so many surprises and twists I didn’t expect but I kind of guessed the ending a little bit, but I’m not mad, JUST READY FOR BOOK TWO, which I know is going to hurt me so bad

I have nothing else to say other than that this book duet will stay with me forever. It will be the book I think about 5 months, 5 years, 5 decades from now. It broke my heart and made me think and wonder and put my heart back together again. It’ll take up a lot of space in my heart forever.
