Took me almost a month but I did it. I loved this book. It was so good. The age difference kind of grossed me out at first but its fine. The end BROKE me, I’m literally so so sad. I loved how sweet they were and their relationship was so fiery and refreshing. I loved that he was there for her always and never had to be asked, he always just was. I love baby Forrest too :( he’s the best kid every, so sweet. I’m super excited to see how the twist plays out in the next book!

Is this a masterpiece? Absolutely not. Is it a fast read and keeps you wanting a bit more? Sure. Will I read the sequel? Yeah. Will I go mad if I read anything about Diet Coke or chocolate chip cupcakes again? 100%. Not super realistic, not a lot of character development, but it was entertaining.
This is my favorite read & might always be! It was the first book to every make me ugly cry at 3am that wasn’t a purposely sad book. Also because of this book I love that I love Age Gap

First off, I loved the relationship that Salem and Thayer had during most of the book. Absolutely LOVED how Thayer is so compassionate and caring when it comes to his Salem.
I HATE the ending. Things happen and life is so short but this did not need to happen to Forrest! He deserved better :( that’s the only reason why the loss of 1 star.
Other than that, I loved the rest of the book and I’m hoping they find each other again in the second book.

This book was beautiful and so painful at the same time.
This story is about Salem and Thayer and trust me when I say it’s a story that will not disappoint! Salem, who is 18 is just trying to figure out what to do with her life, which is full of what if’s. When Thayer moves in new door, the grumpy landscaper who asks Salem to watch his kid to make extra money suddenly struggles to not fall in love. The problem? She’s 18 and he’s 31.
This freaking book was such an emotional roller coaster and I absolutely loved it! It’s definitely a heartbreaking story, but there is also so much love in it. I just have to say that Thayer is so freaking sweet and I always the love grumpy ones. Thayer and Salem are perfect for each other no matter the age difference. Salem is a really unique character that doesn’t back down and is just a really loving person. I loved the plot and it was the perfect slow burn for this book! Every. Single. Book. I have read by this author is always so deep and different from any other book I’ve read. This book will make you laugh, cry, and honestly just be left wanting the next one IMMEDIATELY. It’s the type of book that you will never forget about, trust me it’s that good. I could go on and on about this amazing story, but I won’t because no spoilers!
