-me perdí entre tantos nombres de medicinas psiquiatricas que consumía
-esta mujer es bastante desagradable pero aún así no puedo dejar de sentirme fascinada por ella
-su “doctora” probablemente deberia ser llevada a juicio y encarcelada además de convertirse en enemigo público en más de 3 países (mínimo)
-muchas frases random que no pensé leer alguna vez
-pasó la mayor parte del libro dormida, este libro bien pudo haber sido sobre un gato
-el número de mujeres blancas y rubias con las cuales se comparó/la compararon y tuve que googlear (y el número de mujeres blancas rubias que se ven iguales entre sí)

I enjoyed most of this book! It definitely brought me out of my slump and thought it might be a new favorite but I don’t know, I didn’t like how much she talked about how effortlessly gorgeous she was all the time even though she was destroying her life, relationships, and body. I guess it added a bit of plot between her and Reva’s relationship but that could have probably been done in a different way. And then she did her slumber, woke up, and was suddenly enlightened and ever clear and quite literally Woke? Maybe I just enjoy reading about people in ridiculous misery that they bring upon themselves and get bored once they get over it in some easy way. Seemed like I didn’t really get closure on anything. So many plot points that seemed important weren’t actually important. But alas maybe that is also life lol
maybe i’m not the target audience for this book but until page like 200 i was just bored. i thunk it might have been because i didn’t understand the premise of the book because i did really enjoy the writing style i was just really confused and struggling to get into the story (hence why it took 3 tries for me to read this). i think i will try more of the authors work but just try not to go into the book with such high expectations like i did for this one. i had only seen maybe 1-2 people saying this hadn’t enjoyed this book which is why i picked up, turns out i should listen to everything that is said on the internet. that being said i would love to sleep for 4 months straight and it just fix all my problems
