The book had a lot of things I usually enjoy: frenemies-to-lovers, cursed objet, ancient civilisation... So my rating should have been higher.
BUT the main characters were ex-stepbrothers and I hate the stepbrother trope. Therefore it casted a black cloud on the romance throughout the entire book and I could not get pass it (it's kinda ma fault because I didn't read the blurb tough)!
In a nutshell: I enjoyed it but had mixed feelings at the same time.

Ay estuvo okay, o sea... me lo pasé bien leyéndolo pero no sé, creo que no logré nunca imaginarme a los personajes en mi cabeza, entonces como que no conecté tanto con la trama romantica. Pero en general, el resto estuvo piola

I usually don't feel like I'm reading something new because a lot of romance is redone, but I really really loved this Indiana Jones (kinda) romance! The care and attention to his epilepsy and the amount of attention to detail in this book made this an enjoyable read. Reading Kit's inner voice and seeing firsthand how he believes himself to be the 'boring' Sawyer and how his mental image shifts over the story made this more than just a romance. I loved this book.
