Malala tiene un alma muy linda y es en definitiva alguien a quien admirar. Con tan solo diez años ya aspiraba a cambiar el mundo que la rodeaba… espero esté viviendo una vida pacífica rodeada de quienes la aman.
.
Malala is a beautiful soul and truly someone to admire. Barely 10 years old and aspiring to change the world around her… hope she lives a peaceful life surrounded those who love her.

This book took me a few months to finish just because it was so sad and therefore hard for me to read. It’s obviously nonfiction so everything in this book was the truth. It was also very slow paced. But the story was very inspiring, and it was so interesting to see how different the culture is in Pakistan to the culture where I have grown up. So in summary, story was enlightening, writing was good.

She’s an amazing brave young woman not just because she survived , and kept going but continues the fight for girls education and the fight against terrorism with not war but with education . Her name as the story of her namesake went suits her very well. I hope to accomplish half of what she has.

I didn't like that this book jumped around so much, I couldn't really keep track of what what happening in the world because of it.

It was a frightening and sobering look at what religious fundamentalism can lead to. It has a lot of cultural and historical background on Pakistan that gives context for what happened to her. Her voice shines through discussions of prime ministers, war, and natural disasters. It's a beautiful and important book, and it is so important in this global context of right wing fundamentalism.
