Short, but sweet and funny.  Perhaps a little one-dimension and predictable, but with Crusie, predictable means entertaining, and that's what I got.

4/16/17 - This is definitely a reread, at least for the third time. I LOVE this book (three stars? what was I thinking). Mainly I just wish this book was longer. I love the radio station and Allie's meddling and Charlie's easy-going smarts. I love rereading this book.

That was a super fun read and just what I needed right now. Couldn't put it down. Loved the characters, the steamy scenes, the humour. It was all fantastic. I love that even her side characters were well developed. Turned into a fast read for me!
Probably closer to a 3.5 rating for me. Also can we please get Joe to have his own book? That would be great.

Another good Jennifer Crusie book. I thought the story itself could have been stronger, but the characters made up for it. Crusie's books usually have good chemistry between the H/h and this book continues that tradition. I got this from my local library (part of a Jennifer Crusie bundle and I enjoyed all of the stories in it). Nothing has supplanted Bet Me as my fave book of hers, though.

I keep finding Crusies I've never read. This is a fun early one where a talented radio producer is dumped by her talent and boyfriend, but is kept on to help their new late night host, who has a reputation for being a great radio personality, but seems to have no idea what he's doing...except maybe he's not there to be successful on air. Mystery and romance and comeuppance for horrible exes...all the elements I'm here for. Enjoyable.
