A solid read filled with overwhelmingly important information. I do, in fact, feel smarter for having read this. The author makes you question your beliefs and stances on some hot topics and it can be uncomfortable to be so introspective, but such is life.
Making this book a required reading in a high school or college class would benefit the next generation, although they already seem to be more advanced and self aware than previous ones…
My only complaint is that the language and tone of the book can be infantilizing/patronizing at times, but it is relatively easy to look past.

This is a great book for some one who is starting to learn about social issues. It felt more like a review for my personally, but I love everything that Blair does and was happy to read it!

I think this would be a fantastic book for anyone who hasn't read into the topics on diversity and the mistreatment of people of those identities. It covers all topics really well and I'm planning to buy it for my teenage brother.
For me it was covering trodden ground, but still very enjoyable.
