Isles and Intrigue is the epic sequel to Swords and Seers, full of mystery, betrayal, and characters coming into their own. The character development in this book is amazing, and I found myself squealing towards the end and cheering them on as they conquered their obstacles. Daye's writing has always been immersive and beautiful, but it especially shines in this book. The way the plotlines are all woven together is brilliant, and it makes me want to reread both books and underline all the clues that I missed before. I'm very much looking forward to the next one.

Really liked how she put in a recap of book one, it really helped to refresh my mind as it had already been a long while since I had read the first.
Like before I really enjoyed reading all the different perspectives and how now they’re becoming more apparent in their connection to one another, I loved that feeling of mystery of wondering what’s coming next. I love trying to pick out all the different links as if I’m finding Easter eggs within a game!
I loved the continued character development and Olilra is continuing to be my favourite character with Finola and Comrith being my fave character interactions
