This has to be one of the most inspiring manga I have ever read, I've already watched the anime 2 times before yet everything still feels fresh and hits the same, there are so many amazing quotes, the characters aren't perfect and that humanizes them so much, yaguchis character is relatable in very aspects no matter how different he is as a person, as a " wanna-be artist" this story inspires me so much yet is also so grounding as it shows how much hard work and passion plays a role, though I do wish I got to see more of yaguchi discovering his love for art and seeing more of his struggles as a beginner artist because getting started is really hard and the art information as helpful as it is can be kind of over whelming, I can go on and on about how inspiring it is I'm so inspired to actually focus on art again this manga gave me hope :)

I’m currently on the ninth volume of this series and always come back to it when I’m on break from art school, especially when I’m feeling nostalgic and anxious to return to that creative environment. If I read it during my time at school it would feel redundant, the feelings of stress and familiarity this book displays would just compound the already present emotions I have from working on my assignments. Watching the main character struggle to understand why he wants to make art, his questioning of if he should make his passion into a career, and his drive to constantly improve feels raw and reflective of every artist’s struggles. Besides the plot centered around the main character, seeing the more established artists struggle and choose alternate paths throughout the story makes me comforted with my own journey. This series makes me cry and the art is beautiful

Beautiful art. Beautiful storyline. What more can you ask for? This is easily a favorite for everyone. There's a diverse cast of characters and they are facing questions that we've all asked ourselves, which makes them so relatable.
