This is a romance driven by very strong alpha-male, girl next door tropes. It was a quick read, and while I love an alpha male, the ways in which Tyler asserts himself with Leah make the leap to alpha-hole without affirming Leah's strengths as much as they could. Some of the side characters are super slimy, and this was not a favorite.
