A Heart Pounding, Absolutely Glorious Return of Wrath & Trinity...

"White Knuckles" is the ninth installment and seventh full-length novel of Autumn Jones Lake's, Lost Kings MC (LOKI) series. It is also the second, full book devoted to prominent LOKI characters Wrath and Trinity, and spans the ten days leading up to their wedding. And unlike the others in the series, this one is darker, more suspenseful, heartpounding, "awwww" inducing, and absolutely, unapologetically, filthy.

This book showcases a wiser, more mature, far more secure Wrath and Trinity. A couple, that after enduring all the years of trauma, misunderstandings, and uncertainty, are fully common to fighting for their love no matter the cost. They have truly come out the otherside of their darkness embedded with the knowledge and understanding of what they have, what they need to do to protect it, and what they're willing to sacrifice to keep it. This is now a couple fully secure in the truth that they are stronger together than apart. A couple willing to fight any battle to stay by each other's side. A fierce and absolutely wild force to be reckoned with!

And what a battle Lake puts before them! It. Is. Stunning!

And THANK GOODNESS it is because, to be honest, after the emotional, sixty chapter, rollercoaster that was book 6/ "More than Miles", I wasn't sure I could handle another series installment, let alone the next chapter in Wrath and Trinity's story. Especially considering their first story, "Tattered on my Sleeve", gutted me and left me an emotional pile of blubbering mush. But here Lake redeems herself and returns to glory.

Once again, Lake’s storytelling is exquisite, her portrayal of Wrath and Trinity's journey to own each other fully honest and brave, their fierce, warrior level, willingness to battle the evil threatening their wedding, powerful and irrevocably soul piercing. The intentional threading of incidents, characters, and circumstances from earlier books in the series beyond methodical and unlike any author I have read before. Lake is truly a master of the linear story arc, drawing you into the LOKI world bit by literary bit until you feel as though you are physically immersed in it.

I love how there are no stand-alones here, every book is connected, every character, contributing throughout to the overarching LOKI world. And Lake's storytelling makes you feel as if you're a prospect, watching all that happens firsthand. You can almost feel the wind in your hair from the back of Wrath's bike, smell the lust in the air between Trinity and Wrath at the cabin, and feel the blood dripping from Teller's hands as he tries to extinguish the burning rage within him.

This book is phenomenal yet another testament to how exceptional of an author Lake truly is.

Wrath and Trinity are once again so much fun with their mix of sweetness, and hotness! White Knuckles is a very enjoyable read that gives us not only more Wrath and Trinity, but also bits, and pieces of the other much adored characters. Don't miss this latest installment packed full of the loyalty, and family the Lost Kings MC brings.

This is sort of wrap a few things up book.
You will need to have read previous books in the series before reading this one.

It covers Wrath and Trinity's wedding.
Dealings with their enemy, Ransom.
A few other events that will lead to more issues later in the series and politics and relationship updates and breadcrumbs.

Multiple POV though mostly Wrath and Trinity.
No intimate scenes other than the couples who are in their relationship.

HFN.

This is the seventh full length installment in the Lost Kings (LOKI) world and if you haven’t read the first six you are missing out on life. These bikers are gritty, sexy, bossy and dangerous. They live hard and love harder. Getting to know the characters of LOKI will make you ask yourself one question about the world Autumn created……can I live there? Thanks Autumn!!
