Another well-paced story featuring our favourite archer. I particularly enjoyed the moral lessons and the foreshadowings of the brilliant plot twist. Lots of fun but also plenty of meaty stuff to discuss as a family.

I liked this one the most of the Archer series. It's still hard, in my mind and heart, to beat the main series, but I enjoyed this book and Jo's story!

This one didn't grab me as much as any in the main series or in Jo's series either. Maybe because Jo made some cringy mistakes (rectified by the end, of course) or because I spotted the traitor very early on.
But it resolved nicely and it was good to see what Emma's team was up to during Ember's End.

Honestly this was fun, I like Joe in these and wanted more and thats what I got. I'm still VERY ICK about the author but archery, bunnies? it was a wild and surprising twist to be honest and i LOVED it, a lot of violent fun.
