This was not only easy to read it was also a really lovely story with two great lead characters and one very brash, interfering mother. Mel and Tony have quite sad backstories and although both are stubbornly independent they need each other more than they are willing to admit. Mel wants stability after a childhood of her mother flitting from husband to husband and dropping her off to live with her nan. While Tony has a reputation of being a man with quite a few notches on his bedpost but no real relationships. In fact the longest relationship he has is with his pub!

The pact between them, of her teaching him to cook while he pretends to be her fiancé, brings them closer together but will past troubles ruin their chances of a happy future? This is book one of the Rabbit’s Leap series and I’m really looking forward to reading more and discovering more of the community.
