Still had me gripped even though I knew the story intimately.
Foster transitioned exquisitely from the close and claustrophobic feeling of the first film to this fire-fight Vietnam-esque sequel.
I am reading these from an omnibus edition of the first three so onto Alien 3 next - Don't let me down Alan!

It's Aliens the movie but as a book! Funny to real an action-movie story as relatively eloquent prose. The guy left out that scene where bishop does that thing with the knife though.

Straight Outta the Walls
Very good book.
Impressive read.
Got some interesting bits out of it that was not (really) in the movie.
Dropped a bit in the 3rd act, but a generally fun read.
Would recommend for fans of the amazing film series.
