It wasn't the book I thought I was getting. While the concepts were interesting, I didn't feel the need to finish once it got to the practical applications.

Green Witch seemed more about spirituality while House Witch seemed more like Wicca and appropriating other religions. It had some handy materials but it really rubbed me wrong that it goes through smudging and casually mentions that it’s important to American indigenous people but makes no effort to give context to what that means.

I found this very helpful as a person new to the craft. The books includes approachable rituals and spells. There’s a good amount of witch, god, and goddess history from all around the world
