This was not my favorite book. While I did enjoy the characters and the concept of the story, it felt lackluster
This was a very cute sweet romance and the inspiration behind it had me questioning which way the author was going to take it. The book is about a football player and up un coming singer. Emerson and Stone always had a connection from their teenage years but something happens and things change for both of them. They both thought something had happen to the other but, when you finally get to the point in the story to find the truth. You will have the ol dang moment, I wish in the story things could recover from the past to the present. If you are looking for a palette cleanser, definitely check it out.
Swifties assemble! Imagine Tay-Tay found Trav at the beginning of her career! Ok we wouldn’t have Taylors epic catalogue of albums. This is the book for you! Girl trying make it in Nashville moves into the apartment complex of a blast from the past who just happens to be an NFL player. However he has a secret! After helping the main female character to make it big the couple reveal their true feelings for each other. Great little romance with a few twists and turns!

This was a very quick and enjoyable read! After I read the dedication, I knew the storyline was going to be great. And it was! The author did a great job basing it on the real life pop star/football player romantic duo we hear about everyday while still maintaining a unique and different love story.
I wish I could give this book more than 3 stars, but I felt like it needed a lot more character and plot development. The book felt really rushed with important storylines barely glossed over. The characters were likable but could have been fleshed out a lot more. However, it was still a fun read!
Also - I love the title and the meaning of lucky charms throughout this book. It was a very cute addition!
