That sure was something I did start and finish ! Gorgeous cover tho let’s be real.
Didn’t really connect with this but I would definitely read something else by this author whenever she’s ready to roast dudes in a full-length memoir.

This was a really unique and therapeutic collection of poems - although they aren’t *about* MGK specifically - a good chunk of these pieces are oddly comparable. 🧐 and…he is kind of POS with said comparison. 🙈
Most of these poems I truly enjoyed.
The rest felt a bit incomplete. There are some deeply personal poems - but there are also very “surface-level” pieces that leave way too much up to the reader’s interpretation. I did love the sporadic illustrations throughout the book! I think they paired well with the poetry. Overall, a decent read for poetry fans and (hopefully) a healing journey for Megan.
