Why do I have to wait so long for the sequel to come out?!?! I need it right now! Rebecca is seriously my new favorite author. I’ve read almost all of hers and I love the magic and the realism mixed together. She is such a beautiful writer! Please read this if you loved Lovely War!! This reminded me so much of that! It was wonderful ✨

My bookofthemonth add-on this month and another #apollycon author. I've enjoyed the books I've read by her before. And this one was set in wartime but had some magical letter sending. Love enemies to lovers esp when they are fighting over the same spot at work but start to work together. These two characters also had complicated issues with their families. One upper class and one lower class and both confined by that.
I'm just starting this one hope to finish tomorrow but can already tell I'm into it.

The ugliness of WWI reimagined to a war between gods. Iris and Roman’s story was romantic, heart wrenching, and full of fiery passion. I can’t wait for book 2.
