A triumphant end to a quartet that is also the end of a heptalogy and also the middle of a hexadecology (or maybe a nonadecology, we’ll have to see).

Nobody does what I expect them to in this series in ways that make perfect sense and that’s my resounding endorsement of these books.

Not a spoiler, but there was even more queer representation in this one, so good job Mr. Sanderson.

I’d be more upset about this series being over but this author has over thirty books I still haven’t read so I’m just excited to dive into the next one.

Great ending! I think I still prefer era 1 overall but Brandon Sanderson does a lovely job of creating likeable characters. As always, I loved Wax and Wayne, and the epilogue has me excited for era 3!

A fun ride. I still enjoyed era 1 more, as era 2 felt a bit episodic. Nevertheless, the Sanderlanche in Lost Metal was absolutely beautiful, emotional and heartbreaking.
