Wasn't as horror driven as I anticipated. Once you know the main topic of the story, there are some disturbing moments, but it's all the same reference to humans as food. The ending was a twist I didn't expect! I didn't love it but I found it thought-provoking and interesting.

Interesting concept but poorly executed. Maybe this just wasn’t for me, but god this was boring. This book relies solely on body horror and has absolutely no plot, which I find extremely lazy. Could’ve been a 2 star read, but it loses a star for the puppy scene .
