Quite disappointed in this fantasy effort. The characters remain mainly cliché and interchangeable, our heroine is also given very few interesting traits and the whole military academy part drags on forever with boring and confusing ‚history‘ lessons, that are part of the world-building - which just fell flat overall. Didn’t care for any of the characters or the world they were living in or the stakes.
