The summary of this book was so promising and the cover is so beautiful. A queer retelling of Rapunzel, sounded amazing. The plot was also pretty dry though it sounded so cool in the book's description.The romanceis cute, but I was hoping for more depth and more character development. Still, this is a quick read an fairly enjoyable one.

Była naprawde okej, wciągająca i przyjemna fantastyka. Bardzo przypominała mi serię 'Gołąb i Wąż', co nie oznacza nic złego. Bawiłam się naprawę w porządku, ale raczej nie będę do niej wracała myślami.

I kept waiting for something to happen...

I really expected more from the plot, since it claimed to be a "queer Rapunzel retelling". Aside from the fact that Ava had very long hair, there was nothing Rapunzel about this book. The build-up to the climax was unnecessarily stretched out and made the book feel like a chore.
