Super fun and spicy rom com. I loved the plot of the characters working for a non profit and using the interns to raise money to get their permanent positions. The grumpy photographer was done well. Overall a lovely romantic read!!

As a dog lover, I can't resist a book with dogs. Holly is an elder intern as she is starting a new career. As an intern there is a challenge that she must compete to earn a spot in Glasgow. She ends up asking help from the office grump, Jonathan. Office romances are a lot of fun and they had great banter.
The story sort of lost my interest when they started looking for models. I am not sure why they didn't use a message board or go to a dog park for potential models. I felt that they both acted a bit immature for people in their 30s.
The 3rd act breakup felt over the top and made me dislike Holly. Despite some things I didn't enjoy, the dogs added a cute aspect. I really liked Sir Leonard.
Lauren Enzo did a good job with the narration with different voice for the male parts.
Thank you @reasforeverpub @hachetteaudio for a copy of this.

A romance with dogs, thatβs an auto yes for me! I loved Annaβs last book and this one was just as great. As a PNW girlie myself, I loved all the local vibes this book has. Itβs so fun when books are based near you. I really enjoyed the relationship dynamics of all the character in this book, just feels like youβre hanging out with friends. Loved the concept and so fun watching Holly trying to convince 12 hot guys and their dogs to join her cause.

Holly is starting over after an incident with an ex ends her career as a lawyer. She has found passion and loves working for an environmental nonprofit, there is an opportunity to be a program liaison for the Glasgow office. If she gets this job sheβll be working on preservation of the Celtic rainforest and leaving Seattle office behind.
But before she gets the job she has to win the office competition, sheβs facing off against four others. Holly has 6 weeks to plan and execute a fundraiser. She gets a limited budget and can team up with a creative from the office. The only problem is her competition took all the good creatives and sheβs stuck working with the office grump, Jonathan.
Holly comes up with the idea of a calendar featuring a dog and a guy each month. Now she has to get 12 guys to commit to being featured and the pictures to the printer in 18 days. Thankfully Jonathan has a messy job past of his own and is secretly an amazing photographer. They are the perfect duo and if anyone can pull this off it is them. But as they spend more and more time together the chemistry between them flares and lines will be crossed. But time is ticking and hopefully Holly will be moving to Glasgow shortly.

Thank you NetGalley, Forever, and Anna E Collins for the opportunity to read this ARC. I absolutely tore through this story. It made the endorphins pop with loads of angst, laughter, tension, fantastic supporting characters, and a plot that left me wanting a copy of the finished calendar. (But really, can I get one?!) I adored this book so much, as a dog lover, a marketer, a nature lover, and someone who thought they might make a good lawyer once upon a time. I really hope weβll get a follow up book with best friend + brother romance! I canβt wait to see what Collins thinks up next.
Thank you to Netgalley & Forever for the ARC.
This started off promising. I love when the MCs are in their 30s and the added aspect of a career change was enticing. Holly was fine, but I guess inconsistent is the word. She was supposed to be this model employee, yet blew it on the project. She didnβt act like someone in their mid 30s, maybe early 20s. I felt zero connection to Jonathan. He sort of just existed. He had some growth. Maybe the issue is because we didnβt get his perspective but I needed more from him.

I really enjoyed this book! The grumpy to everyone except her vibe that Jonathan has was so cute to read and made me wish I could hear a few of the chapters from his point of view. I appreciate the real world problems that are included throughout (e.g. anxiety, grief, career changes) without letting the trauma or sadness take over the story. Sometimes I would lose track of all the different characters with 12+ calendar focused characters to keep track of, but the details of each of the pictures made me feel like I could really see the calendar images. All in all the book was sweet with a handful of steamy moments and was a fun, quick read!

Finding Mr. July by Anna E. Collins was a fun read, I love a dog-themed romcom.
In this one, Holly is a disgraced lawyer starting over in her mid-30s at an internship with a nonprofit. Sheβs part of an intern competition to run the most profitable fundraiser, and recruits grumpy former photographer Jonathan to help: her idea is to create a hot-guys-with-dogs calendar.
I loved the dog content, and really enjoyed the story featuring an older heroine and hero who were both trying to get their lives back on track. I struggled with some aspects of Hollyβs character and how she treated Jonathan in the second half, but overall this was an easy, fun read.

Finding Mr, July was a quick & cute read that I really enjoyed! To be fair, what is not to like - there's hot guys and puppies! Holly was relatable and her dynamic with Jonathan felt organic. Lauren Ezzo's narration was well done and engaging and I would absolutely recommend the audio for anyone who is interested in this book. Collin's also definitely left some breadcrumbs for a second book and I hope that it's the couple I think it will be!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and my biggest gripe with it would be the title. It just gives away more of the ending and makes the βoh noβ plot twist at the end so freaking predictable. However, I love both Holly and Jonathan. This is very much a grumpy/sunshine romance and it so sweet to see Jonathan open up as the plot unfolds. Holly stays relatively consistent but it is really nice to see a 30ish year old have a career change and embrace the concept that itβs never too late to change what you want. I didnβt see Jonathanβs backstory coming at all, but it added a really nice depth to his character. There was also a lot of build up to why Holly left her previous job but then it felt very anticlimactic. There was also a touch of miscommunication trope at the end (bleh), but it was rectified. It took a little bit to get into this read, but I really enjoyed it, especially Hollyβs relationship with her brother and niece. The hot guy and dog calendar was really just a bonus to all of it! The audiobook was absolutely fantastic and the narration really immersed me in the story! I listened to it as often as I could! Absolutely recommend! 4.5βοΈ, 2πΆ
