physically, it’s a pretty book and what made me read it — unfortunately, i don’t think that what’s included in it can really be called poetry (but that’s my subjective opinion)

Swimming Lessons was an easy, relaxing read. It felt like a little glimpse into Lily’s diary. Her poems are short and simple. I would’ve loved her words to have some more detail and depth, but overall a nice book if you’re not looking for something too full on.
