I really enjoyed this book and loved the romance, the good communication within the book, and the good representation of friendship throughout Meg’s life. I probably would have given it five stars but i felt that Reid not being on the autistic spectrum while being clearly autistic-coded was disappointing as an autistic person. His clear special interests, advanced intelligence, and struggle with directness and relating to people are all things that are very relatable and common autistic traits and to see this and not have the character causally mention it was upsetting as it could have been a great normalizing book for autistic adults in romantic relationships.

Beyond this point, Meg and Reid’s relationship was wildly sweet and fun to read, meaning it still ranks quite high in my star ratings. The sex was well-written and felt realistic, something many romance novels struggle with. Lark, Sibby, Lachelle, and Cecelia were all fun side characters who made the story better. I was not expecting
the twist of Reid as a whistleblower but it added a nice third act twist without it being a breakup.

lastly, i think this is one i would like best as either an audiobook, because it was first person,  or a physical book, because of the lettering references, but i read it as an e-book and still really enjoyed it! Kate Clayborn’s past and future books are definite reads for me!
