This series came to me highly recommended by several friends. Though it has all the components of the kind of urban fantasy I usually love, I could never get into this one and was bored throughout, kept looking for a reason to put it down and do something else. The only reason I didn't add it to the "did not finish" pile is because of the excellent audio narration.

I like magic and I like mystery! The introduction to this world and the characters was very cool.

This was recommended to me by a friend from work. She has been going on about how much she loves these books, and I can definitely see why. It was a lot of fun!

I had no idea what this was about, so I was pleasantly surprised that it's a mash up of murder mystery and fantasy. A London cop that learns magic and has to battle ghosts - I'm in!

I loved all the hilarious quips and banter too, just a fantastic read/listen. Looking forward to going on more adventures with Constable Grant.
