Cassia and Lio steal precious hours with each other every night, but by day they must pretend they barely know each other. If the Hesperines and Tenebrans don’t come to some sort of arrangement, it will mean war - something neither side is ready to face. When they finally reach an agreement, Cassia and Lio are thrilled - until they realize they’ve played right into their enemies’ hands…

Oh my gosh, wow!!! “Blood Sanctuary Part Two” by Vela Roth was everything I could’ve dreamed of and more. The tension between the Tenebrans and the Hesperines gets extremely intense in this one, and I loved being able to watch it all play out!!! Cassia and Lio have worked so hard for peace, and I truly believe in them and their cause. But I also think that other people don’t feel the same way, and all of that kind of came up in this one in a way that will both shock and amaze you!!! Seriously, if you haven’t read this series yet, what are you waiting for? I highly recommend!

I think this whole series will sit right around a 4-star rating. It's very good, and I'm loving the world building and getting to know more and more characters (esp the Hesperines). Sometimes Cassia annoys me, but I can't tell if it's her or just some of the dialogue. The tension and stakes definitely went up a notch in this one! And I so love Lio.

This was probably my favorite so far. Really picked up the action and emotion, developed Cassia and Lio’s relationship so much more and really emphasized how incredible of a team they make. Brought so many more mysteries into play that I’m so interested to get further into. The twist with the Collector and the Old Masters was amazing and I sincerely didn’t expect it at all. I was so captured by that whole battle and Cassia’s mystery powers, the strength of Lio’s powers. One thing I do hope is that we get more of Rudhira in the coming books and expand on his character and story - it’s so heartbreaking and interesting and I need more of it. Love that Cassia’s rescuers also finally come into the fold and get some happiness. Just really intrigued with this story now, finally.

This whole series is completely overtaking my every thought!

Spoilers-

Lmao I don’t care what anyone says I LOVE chrysanthos!!! He’s so annoying and sassy but in a funny way because this man walked into the home of his enemies, looked at powerful ancient beings and decided to become the definition of an annoying little brother

Like he really walked up to elders and was like “yo Kassandra how’s your dead son?” “Found Nike yet? Pity, did u check the lost and found section at cordium?” “I see the lion of orthros has become his wife’s house cat”

Also eudias and ariadne are so precious I need more of everyone in this series

𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I loved this book, and think it's probably my favourite Blood Grace book so far!

The plot twists had me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading, and while I picked a few, I didn't see many of them coming.

I loved the mental health rep, and how well it was written. I was absolutely sobbing while reading those parts, but found relief in how it worked out; I have high hopes for that character in future books, and hope they find their other half.

I also really enjoyed the romance, which was steamy, but I feel slightly less so than previous books. Lio and Cassia are such a beautiful couple, but there are also lots of other romance subplots happening too, and most of them have such amazing diversity woven into them.

This book had me laughing, crying, raging, and hoping. It also answered some of my questions, but left me with so mang more —  I can't wait to start Blood Union part 1!

𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝑰 𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒚𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕: dual POV, found family, secret magic, Cassia's reunion with those from her past, all the intrigue, the embassy, steamy scenes with biting.

💢 𝙏𝙒𝙨: mental health issues (low detail suicide ideation of side character), bullying, violence, & consensual sexual scenes

☆I received an ARC of this book from the author. All thoughs are my own honest opinions.☆
