I had a lot of fun reading Intercepted!

I read a lot of romance so what I’m generally looking for is: Do the characters have a lot of personality? Is it unique? Is it fun?

This book checked all the boxes for me. I felt the narrative tone was fun and fresh. I was worried the hashtag jokes would annoy me but they were well done and not overused. This book doesn’t have the most complex plot but sometimes that’s just fine in romance. It has a lot of desperate housewives style drama and I was here for it. I’m not even super big on football, but the context of NFL wives / girlfriends was pretty fun to explore. Sometimes the writing felt a bit repetitive but overall this is a solid debut.

I’d recommend this to romance fans looking for something to shake up the typical romance books you gravitate to. I will definitely read other books in this series. FYI this is a solid 8.5/10 🍆 on the steam scale.
