It was an interesting read, although I found the language difficult to process at times I did enjoy the book. I found Victor Frankenstein to be the maker of his own misfortunes and at times I did feel sorry for the creature he created.

I would recommend anyone to give it a try.

A feat of imaginative writing for an 18yr old.  Creature’s ability not consistent and that took away from story for me.  What is life with no companionship?   Easy to sympathize with creature.  Frankenstein’s creation of creature irresponsible and wedding night completely unforgivable given what had already happened and warning.  I don’t understand how/why people liked him and had such close relationships with him. Much longer than it needed to be.

I remember having to read this as a teenager for English class, but not much else, so I figured it was time to give it a try. Unfortunately, it’s  not grabbing my attention. I think character-driven books are just a bigger challenge for me to get in to.
