The story and characters were sweet and interesting, but felt like everything lacked depth and details. The last third of the book felt very rushed and left me confused about what exactly was going on.

Great fun read. Melody is a better writer than her brother Colin (wildwood).

I remember reading this book for book club in fifth grade and I absolutely loved it. It was my first ever taste of romance novels.
