I enjoy a nice adventure but this story was a bit long; would’ve been better if it was about 100 pages or so shorter and more to the point.

I don't want to spoil anything so I'll be quick. I found it really entertaining. Even if the magical/paranormal (how can you qualify that sort of unnatural events that happened in there?) was a bit too much... I really love A. McDermott's characterization especially of Eddie Chase.

I was quite excited to find this at the store the other day. The timing couldn't have been more perfect as I had just finished the book I was reading and was looking for the next one to pick up. I was not disappointed. This is another great istallment in the Nina and Eddie adventure chronicles. I'm hoping this isn't the end of them because you can't really tell by the ending.

More high-octane thrills and spills following husband and wife team Eddie Chase and Nina Wilde as they fight for the lives against insurmountable odds to discover the truth behind the odd statues they've been collecting. Witty, exciting and pleasantly mindless, this story fits in perfectly with the series and delivers.

Another enjoyable Chase and Wilde, one of the more crazier ones, I think. Lots of great crazy action!

This is the 8th book in the Nina Wilde and Eddie Chase series, and they’re getting very repetitive now. I honestly can’t imagine what the next 7 books will bring to the series. Despite this, the overall story arc is progressing nicely.
