This book was a whirlwind, of different plots and characters. It was hard to follow for the first half or so, and although there was a character list at the beginning, I gave up referencing it because it just got a bit annoying. The characters feel kind of flat and just largely fit too much into stereotypes for my taste. However, once the main main characters were left and things started to add up and flow together, it was a page-turner.
