throughly enjoyed this book, but much slower than other Brandon Sanderson books I've read and despite what I've seen people say, could def tell it was a debut novel. that being said, worldbuilding was fantastic and characters were for the most part well-written. didn't love how mental health was handled, but also understand the time this was written in and have read newer Sanderson books that do the subject justice
