It’s very cute and a slow burn. Key tropes are probably forced proximity, friends to lovers (although how long do you need to be friends for it to be friends to lovers)? The one critique is that I didn’t fine myself getting as sucked in as other books but it was still an enjoyable read.

I just absolutely adored this book. Witty and funny and an all together lighthearted read. Once I finished I just wanted to know more about the Savoie family and sisters. I loved the true feel of New Orleans it gave off. Made me want to plan a trip ASAP. This book was a perfect pallet cleanser. I will continue the standalone series to get more of these characters
