Kristin Hannah has a special way of writing. She makes you feel like you are in the story and you know the people inside and out. She hits you hard in the feels every

I had serious doubts about this book going in. First of all, it seemed way too sappy and generic for my taste. Second, a friend read it and didn't like it.

For the first half of the book I was bored out of my mind. I just didn't care about the characters. Kate was a spineless sap and Tully was a self-obsessed douche. But then about half way through I got into it. I still wasn't crazy about the characters, but I was invested in the story.

It was predictable. I guessed how it was going to end early on. But I still enjoyed it. It wasn't horrible, just wasn't anything special to me. I thought it could have been shorter.

One thing I did love about it was that it was set in Seattle. It was cool reading a book and knowing where all of the places they mentioned were.
