3.5 stars. I loved it when I first read the series but upon rereading it, I found it a little too slow and more boring than I remembered. The chemistry that I felt was so strong between the 2 lead protagonists initially wasn't really there when I reread it. Still a good read tho.

BREAD AND BUTTEH BABY! you gotta have the trashy dramas every now and then. she’s dating her brother? she’s not! she is again? now she’s kissing him?! great times.

read these a long long time ago and try as I might I cannot remember a single plot point, only that I thought that Cassandra Clare did a much better job with the Infernal Devices (Clockwork) series.

Good read. Different from Twilight, but I think if you liked the saga you might enjoy these books.

ALL TIME FAVORITE SERIES EVER!!!!! Cassie's other books and series (The Infernal Devices and her new ones coming out like The Last Hours and The Dark Artifices) come in after that. I just love Cassandra Clare. I don't know what it is about her books that makes me love them so much.
