It makes me sad to read about everything that Britney has been through in her life, especially at the hands of people who were supposed to love and care for her. 

Despite the book not being as detailed as it could have been, it was more than enough to show and explain not only everything Britney went through, but how it has impacted her and will continue to affect her. 

This book does read almost like a teenage diary, but that is not surprising considering most of the control of her own life started to disappear when she was a teenager. So many opportunities and life experiences were taken away from her and it has definitely left its impact.

It was a look into everything that Britney has gone through written with grace and compassion.  I was amazed how someone who had gone through so much has so much hope for other people.  Her ability to forgive and have empathy for others was inspiring to read.

Kudos to the ghost writer and Michelle Williams for capturing Britney so well. It does feel like something she would write: not completely mature-sounding but when your childhood is stripped from you, you naturally want to have that childhood back as an adult. It makes sense.
