I postponed picking this up for sooooo long.. FYI, it broke me and I cried for 2 days straight. 'Till this day I cannot listen to Adele's Million Years Ago without thinking about them.

one of my favourite series ever !!! i had such a fun and thrilling but also emotional and heartbreaking experience reading this <3 an incredible story with amazing writing and plot twists. can't wait to see the rest of it adapted into the anime :)

For anyone wondering, sorry I didn't mark each individual volume, I don't got the patience to mark like 34 books :.)

ANYWAYS-
I loved this series, manga and anime. It holds a special place in my heart, and overall the ending (excluding the last 8 pages that were added on) was, to me, satisfying.

A few things that I especially liked about the overall story and the ending was:
- the portryal of friendship, not just between Eren, Mikasa, and Armin, but side characters like Levi and Erwin, Sasha, Connie, and Jean, and even Levi and Hange (by far my favorite duo of the whole series)
- the portryal of betrayal, especially the table scene. I literally cried
