Man this was a ride!!!! As soon as I read the blurb I was fascinated and keen to get my teeth into such a unique story. This didn’t disappoint.

Wol-vriey has wound together an extremely interesting premise and the end was a big twist that I’d never have guessed.

The Virgin is a weird and awesome combo of spatterpunk, gore, erotica and horror. I found myself laughing out loud at some of the situations and scenes described in The Virgin, and then seriously questioned my sanity as this is... well... an extreme book.

If you’re looking for something as trite and poorly written and unimaginative as the 50 shades series then don’t bother with this. Unlike that trash heap, this is well written, is actually erotic and propels you devestatingly towards the end where you are smacked in the face with a shovel with a twist.

If you are a gore fiend I highly recommend this!!!

dark funny fast-paced

okay introduction into the splatterpunk genre but too much of the short book was dedicated to setting up the sequel instead of focusing on the story at hand... left feeling incomplete yet uninterested in reading the sequel

The Hunger Games of Maidenhood

This story caught me quickly and reeled me in until the last page. There is a very unique idea and it is done with a sense of female empowerment instead of an orgy fantasy most would expect from a man. My only complaints: Teresa and her "biatch" ugh.
Also, there were a few mistakes that as a reader broke the flow for me. With a good editor, this could be AMAZING!

There is actually not as much sex as you would expect from a story about 5 virgins fighting to keep their hymens.

Side Note: I lowkey want a HYMEN PROTECTION hoodie now.
