Despite being slower than the other two books in the series, Mockingjay explores powerful political themes such as power, revolution, loss, trauma, and symbolism. I found myself attached to Katniss's ideas and viewpoints, but I had to remind myself that staying within her perspective limits the scope of the book's message. This is exactly why I appreciate Collins's writing as she consistently weaves important plot points into subtle details.
One of the most memorable moments is when Buttercup and Katniss mourn Prim's death. Katniss’s explosive anger, combined with Buttercup’s wailing and Collins’s portrayal of grief, creates a vivid and unforgettable scene.

maybe weaker overall than the rest of the trilogy but this was far too relevant right now for me to not be deeply affected by it. also, the epilogue and the cat.
Satisfying ending. love everlark. hevensbee is confusing me.

Absolutely zero complaints. This series is phenomenal. Will forever be my favorite (other than Harry potter) book series. Every single book in the trilogy is a 5 star book. This one and the first one are probably tied as my favorite, and I would recommend this to anyone.
Not sure I like this book’s implications regarding revolution. Also this book kind of killed romance for me. Maybe that’s a good thing?
