I could not put this book down and read it within a couple of days!

The writing style is easy to follow and also makes it easy to pause reading within the middle of a chapter.

Lexi is born in to a rich family and finds herself with nothing to occupy her time other than party.

Dawson manages to tell her story in a gritty yet sophisticated way that does include triggers, but not enough that I felt I had to stop reading.

Overall A great read, however I would have enjoyed if there was more of a love story but I do realise this book is about suffering from addiction and recovering - the added love story is just a bonus!

Very enjoyable and heartbreaking. Very well researched and lovely language use. Would recommend.

This was one of the first more “gritty, reality” book I read when I was first a teen and I truly enjoyed it a lot.

OKAY THIS BOOK IS GOOD REALLY GOOD
i love the way that you got caught in the characters because there so relatable and just amazing work and i love the ending and
how everyone, eventually after sevrale times and efforts and replases over comes their addictions (expect for safair :()
but this book is really good and really relatable and i reccomend big time

The cover is absolutely perfect, I love the colour and how it's shinny.
But unfortunately the book was far from perfect.

I absolutely didn't like it at all. The storyline seemed really good, it was a plot that I had never read and made me want to read and love this book.
But it was just all over the place and completely incoherent and the description of the withdrawal symptoms felt like a copy of my nursing studies.
Then the book tries to make you believe that addiction is an illness even though I wouldn't have described it that way and I doubt anyone would think like the book.
The characters were irritating, using money to get privileges and rather boring overall really. The whole lot was just a total mess.
I wouldn't recommend this book at all.
