Overall this book was very sweet, but I think it was overhyped online a bit too much and my expectations were too high. The pacing for me was a bit off. The story had a slow start but once Lemon and Iwan met, their feelings for each other were near instantaneous and I wish it had been a slower burn. The narration on grief was particularly compelling and had me near tears a number of times. Some plot lines were very rom-com predicable, but others took me by surprise.

I really liked the plots twists with Vera’s connection and the various past and present characters meeting one another.

There was a great spin on it. A story revolving around an apartment that can manipulate time, either forward or backward was a great concept. I can imagine how exciting and painful it must have been to fall in love with someone from another timeline. The anxious feeling of not knowing whether the love of your life is waiting for you at the other side once you open the door. Also never expected to like the endearment "Lemon".

This was my very first dive into the romance genre, and I honestly don’t think I could have picked a better starting point. Reading it felt like curling up in a cozy room, fuzzy socks on, cradling a mug of hot chocolate on a winter’s day. It’s the kind of wholesome, heartwarming story that makes you believe in love again. I laughed, grinned like a fool, and even teared up at the sheer sweetness of it all. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it lacked the extra depth I usually look for in a truly standout read. But overall, it was absolutely delightful.
