I keep going back and forth between a 3.75 and 4 star rating. I do think I was on the side of the book community that did enjoy this book. I can easily see how you might either love it or absolutely hate it. I thought it was a really quick fast pace read with how short the chapters are. I actually think it’s probably best read in one sitting and binging it. 

wow this was so intriguing and completely unexpected. i finally got around to one of the og tik tok books and i was so pleasantly surprised with this 

read. 

it reads very poetic. it reads kind of dark & mysterious. read if you want fast paced, read in one sitting, rich family drama, ya mystery summer vibes. 

i wouldn't say it's a fav but i did like it & want to read the prequel. also, very excited for the show.

Such a beautiful and tragic tale to read. 
I love books like these that end in such an unexpected way that makes your heart wrench. 
Just read it.

Bought this book because of all the hype on social. About midway through the novel (the part where Cadence is playing tennis) I guessed the plot twist somehow. I think it would have been a *much more enjoyable read if I didn’t.
Very quick read, good for the summer!
