My stomach hurts. I laughed so hard my stomach hurts. I don't know what was funnier-- Duncan Bradford and all of the antics of his family or Necie, the virgin klutz. If I didn't have so many books to read I would go back and read the series all over again--so funny. Necie has just returned home to help run the bakery. She hasn't even gone in the house and she is injuring Duncan. Life goes down hill from there. I thought I would die of laughter when poor Necie slipped, letting loose of a cart full of pastries. The Bradfords came to her aid until the pastry cart was discovered. The fight was on between parents, brothers, and cousins, leaving Duncan to help Necie. It is a day that will live in infamy. It is a game changing day. Let the mating dance begin, crash, burn, restart, force (getting the idea). Gotta love the Bradfords. Niece's grandfather is one cool unique old man. Can you imagine a 65 year old man giving lessons on "the talk" and condom use. He doesn't just teach, he supplies. I will never look at a banana the same way. Let me warn you--don't drink anything while reading. It is such a pain to stop and clean up. I will be reading Christmas from Hell next holiday season.

The audio book was fantastic. No matter how you devour this book it is delicious.

By the end of The Game Plan, I was actually really interested in Duncan Bradford, the Bradford to drop anything and uproot himself to take care of his injured brother. This was so sweet and unexpected, especially since The Game Plan doesn't feature Duncan all that often, that I was immediately ready for his book.

Luckily, it was out.

Annnnnnnnnnnd... it was utterly forgettable.

I remember... I remember not being impressed. I remember.... I remember not liking Duncan all that much (oh, man! Really?? I was so looking forward to this!). I remember... she was accident prone? And he was mostly over her shit? Oh, and she baked! I remember that! And... Er... Er....

DID I REALLY READ THIS JUST TWO MONTHS AGO?? What is going on? Where did everything go? I just wrote three reviews about the rest of the series, even books I read after this one, and I can't recall almost anything from this one? Jesus. Maybe I just imagined I read this? Goodreads says I did, and so does Kindle, but maybe there're all wrong.

There is no way this book, about a character I was so looking forward, ended up being so mediocre my brain disposed of the information when I closed it. No way.

.... Right?

Technically, this is not really a review, but no one can convince me a book being this forgettable doesn't say a lot about the book in question, and its quality. No one. I honestly debated about the rating for this one a lot because apparently I gave this one four stars initially (or so Goodreads said), but then I looked at it after reading the eighth novel and I was certain I had meant to give it three, and now it feels like even three might be half a star too much. idk.

Another great read in the neighbor from hell series. Chaos and hilarity ensue between the klutzy baker and the firefighter next door. of course you have the usual food obsessions but it was just as good as the rest.

Well, this book didn't disappoint. I didn't think the series could keep getting better but it does and I each couple has their own HEA after all the drama and chaos that they overcome together. The characters are growing within each book and the relationships that are being created just make the book that more of an emotional rollercoaster.

After reading Fated (which unfortunately I didn't really enjoy) this book was definitely refreshing. I can honestly say I love the Neighbor from Hell series now. I can totally relate to Necie because I'm a total klutz myself. The ground and I have a pretty good relationship or I just break things without meaning to >_>; Duncan is a complete sweetheart though there were definitely some parts I wanted to smack him upside the head. I also felt the resolution of their romance was a bit rushed at the end(?) that's why some points were docked from my rating. All in the all this book was pretty good. Can't wait for the next one!

Loved it! Finally getting back to the way I liked this serie! I laughed my ass off, Duncan is so unlucky, and the time that she said I love on the first night was the best. My problem is what to read now?!

As always I FLOVED this NFH book...Duncan is an over caring and helpful Bradford Boy who is always there for his family no matter what.. Necie is his disaster prone neighbour who lives with her Grandpa and runs a bakery (handy for a Bradford) ... I love how the other Bradfords always make an appearance in the NFH books, as I like to keep up with them..I love the laugh out loud factor with the NFH books and this one certainly didn't disappoint...can't wait for the next one..thank you R.L Mathewson

This was my least favourite of this series. It felt rushed and quite repetitive. The previous characters weren't as involved which was always an enjoyable part of these books. Also the 'love' wasn't really believable and that itself felt rushed and forced. The whole story was just missing something. I have loved this while series but this one was a little dissapointing for me sadly.

Re-read 4 years later and I still feel the same. These characters didn't talk or get to know each other! I just can't get really into books where there isn't a a proper foundation for a relationship.

You can read a complete and a more detailed review at my blog.

This is the 7th book in the series about the Bradford family. After 6 books, I know what to expect and I was not disappointed. The whole thing is just hilarious. Hilarious! We meet Duncan who havenā€™t been a big character in the other books. But he is an original Bradford trough and trough with the food obsession and everything. Then we met Necie, who is a queen in both cooking and baking. I would have thought the relationship between Duncan and Necie would start off from the beginning with his food obsession and her skills with food. But Necie is one unlucky person who keeps hurting herself or Duncan so he ā€œhatesā€ her and tries to avoid her at all costs. This is just one of those feel good books that I love.
