It was a really quick and easy read, but not really memorable to me. I loved the atmosphere and the vibe of the parties, but the book focused to heavily on things that weren’t of interest to me and focused too little on things that were interesting. I would have probably liked it more if it was more fleshed out. The characters were also pretty unlikeable and the ending affected me way less than I thought it would. I’m excited to watch the movie (the one with Leonardo DiCaprio) because it seems really good and right up my ally aesthetically.

"So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past."

I have no thoughts other than the characters were as human as they could've been, and Nick is definitely 100% gay.

The ending fell flat. I was just waiting for it to be over.
If my favorite English teacher is reading this. I'm sorry.
