I really enjoyed "Salvation Day", but this book was not nearly as good.
Pretty much at the end of the day, this was a decidedly average sci-fi, locked room, murder mystery.
The writing is good enough, and the main character is really well developed, but this one just didn't have the spark that her previous novel did.
It's not a bad book by any means, but not one that I would really recommend either.

Kali Wallace is at it again with another sci-fi thriller/mystery banger. Previously I read Salvation Day and loved it. I enjoyed this just as much, and consider it a good Pride Month read as the majority of characters are girls, gays, and theys. I'm looking forward to more from Wallace in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. An enticing, well-written sci-fi thriller murder mystery that a woman who has lost everything gets sucked into. Add ethics surrounding AI, a main character with brain, grit, and heart, the aftermath of a major war, sprinkle in some corporate B.S. and you have a great read that's hard to put down. Definitely recommend if you're a fan of any of these!

Solid murder mystery in space. It was ok overall, however I felt that we were introduced to some cool story elements early on that would have been more interesting to investigate.
