This book was great. Amazing start to this series. Characters were developed perfectly. I felt myself able to connect easily with them. I couldn’t put it down. The story was packed with action and emotion. A true forbidden love story always warms my heart.
This book caught me by surprise. I was like oh yet another Lycan and vampire forbidden love story. But IT was nothing as I thought. Though it does have that as a major theme to the overall story, that's not it. There is a secret connection between the two races that they seem to be oblivious about. This book is the beginning of this series and I am looking forward to reading more of it. But in this, while being introduced to Robertson's world you meet several characters that I assume will take center focus as each story is told. But in this one Tasha and Levi. I love their story so hard.
Forbidden Wolf by C.R. Robertson is simply a great read! One vampire, one Lycan, two species that war against each other, but these two found love and have to fight their way out. Many years later, they meet again, but there is another species out there making themselves known even though they did not know it. The way C.R. builds this story with all the main characters is just amazing! This was my first read from C.R. Robertson, and I immediately made sure I got the second book! If you have a love for vampires and Lycans, then check this out!
Oh snap! First things first. That cliffhanger spartan kicked me off the edge leaving me with nothing to grasp. It was baffling and had me feeling all sorts of feelings. I didn't know a steamy scene could do that to me but WOW!!!
The tension between vampires and lycan are no different in this series. But it has a unique enemy that you don't see coming until it drives into you like a Mac truck. It has its own subspecies and different forms of it.
Levi and Tasha in this series are a force to be reckoned with. Each can hold their own independently, but when they are together it's a whole other ball game. Both have pasts that they aren't proud of but they overcome it together.
CR did a wonderful job writing this first book. It drew me in from the first word. I saw the book playing out in my mind like a movie. That doesn't happen a lot for me, but this book definitely did it. I will be 100% recommending this book to my friends that love erotica with a good story.

Enthralled from beginning to end! I love a good romance, but when you add paranormal to it, I am 100% there! I was emotionally invested in the book straight from the start. The story line is interesting, there are a few plot twists to keep you invested, and Levi is a sweet baby angel, no one can change my mind about that. The story also has a little bit of spice along with everything nice already mentioned. There is a great enemy to route against, actually more than one. The connections and relationships between several characters are also well done. Great read, needless to say I am looking forward to the next book!
I was a little skeptical when I first started reading this one. But I and so happy that I did. Such a good read.

They don't understand the bond that is holding them together but wow does Levi go above and beyond fighting for what is his!
It really is a great read and now I am ready to start on Book 2!!!

female and male lead character will have your head in this book, I couldn’t flip the page fast enough.
Vampire, werewolf, and a past that can destroy everything they hold dear. LOVE!
The development of these characters and the plot is timeless and worth more than five stars.

A forbidden romance is sparked between enemy species - wolf and vampire! Each is placed into a world of war, as soldiers, who need to fight to get back to each other. The couple’s passionate connection is what will hopefully lead them towards salvation. The author did a good job of bringing a different take on an old premise. From the very beginning the author jumps right into the story; you never felt that it was slow moving! I look forward to the future books in this series!
Forbidden Wolf is Part 1 in The Shadow Chronicles by CR Robertson. In all honesty I never thought that I would enjoy a book about vampires, but I found that I was unable to put this book down. I was so enthralled by this book that I had it read from cover to cover within a 24-hour period. Not much else got accomplished until I was through reading this book.

A chance encounter between Tasha and Levi leads to a tumultuous love affair that they must closely guard, or risk being put to death. Their love is one that can never be, but they vow to somehow make it work. When they are old enough to be sent to war, they are separated but vow that they will again be together. The bond that they forge is unbreakable and they go to great lengths to be together regardless of how many miles have separated them and how many years they have been apart. When they discover a common enemy that is killing both Vampires and Lycans their clans form an allegiance for each to save their clans. Tasha, and Levi are finally able to be together, however, their relationship is one that the Coven leader, is disgusted by and he wants both Levi and Tasha killed. The coven leader is a man that is so cruel you instantly loathe him and want to jump into the pages of the book to protect Tasha from his evil wrath.
Forbidden Wolf was very professionally written, and I found myself completely drawn into the lives of both Tasha and Levi. I found myself rooting for the characters to be together and kept reading to see if Tasha and Levi would get their happily ever after. Forbidden Wolf kept me hooked from the first page and I was not disappointed throughout. This book is a must read! I cannot wait to read the remaining books in this series!

Forbidden Wolf is the first book in The Shadow Chronicles. Tasha is a vampire who is nearing the age where they are sent off to fight the war against the lycans. Levi is a lycan who is also nearing the age to be sent off to fight war; against the vampires. One night fate intervenes and their paths cross. They have never felt for another what the feel for each other. They have one summer to spend together before they have to fight their wars. They have to do it in secret as the penalty with being each other would be death for them both. Can and will they find their way back to each other? Tasha and Levi are strong adversaries in their own species, can they be even stronger together when a new danger threatens both their worlds?
This was a great read that kept me turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next.
