Deludente. Storia troppo ridicola.

DID NOT FINISH

It felt weird that this was a real person and we’re talking about her husband’s affair etc
emotional mysterious medium-paced

Strong character development: Complicated

Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

3.5 rounded up. Easy read, good concept. Tonya would see all the plot twists coming but I didn’t!

I went back and forth between loving and hating this story. In the end, I really liked it. It definitely kept me guessing with what was next. It was a little confusing at parts.

Saw the twist coming from a mile away, but enjoyed the story nonetheless.

It was a slow burn to stay the least! I really didn't get interested until at least halfway in! I didn't feel so invested in the characters except for Nan's past until Chilton found Agatha!

I wouldn't recommend the book, but I'm glad I stuck through it!

My favorite quote in the book is "The age of disappearing women. It has been going on forever. Thousands vanished, with not a single police officer searching."

Nan's backstory is heart-wrenching! I was very much more interested in her past than her present! Again, it was a nice read, but i wouldn't read it again! It was a nice story, but nothing was there to keep me hooked!
