OMG THIS BOOK WAS SOOOOOOOO AMAZING! and I'm not just saying that because she's a "famous booktuber", I'm actually pretty sure the only reason people give this bad reviews because she is a booktuber! I think this book was so interesting and gripping!!! I would absolutely love to have/own a physical copy in my hands!!!!! and I can't WAIT for the other books like I NEED THEM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YIKES. This book was better than I thought it was going to be. With that being said, it still wasn't by any means good. I enjoy Sasha's videos and I admire her for publishing a book in such a short amount of time, but there's no doubt that this first installment could use some major editing. The writing was repetitive and almost all of the dialogue was forced and cartoonish. I didn't find any of the characters to be particularly interesting and it was because of this that I couldn't differentiate between them- all of them seemed to have a mysterious and dark past that I honestly couldn't care less about. All in all, I found Zenith to be just like any other poorly-written YA science-fiction novel and I don't know that I have an interest in reading the rest of it.

This book was amazing!
I was really looking forward to reading this book, since two lovely youtubers/booktubers wrote it together, and I was not let down :)
I listened to this book via Storytel, which is aDutch audiobook subscription service, with loads of English books available (Yay). I believe you can get the same version (with a full cast of narrators yayy) on Audible.
I absolutely loved Androma and her crew, their friendship was the best. I also liked the different perspectives we got, though it did confuse me from time to time. I found it really interesting to read from the villains' perspectives, it gave me a better insight in the whole world.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. And I can't wait for the next book to come out <3

I know theres a lot of controversy around this book…but i thought it was amazing. Seriously. The world was awesome and there were so many chapters i really felt lost in, the world seemed so bright with life and the story was so fun, almost chaotic at times. This book would have been 5 ⭐️ for me, the end was my only dislike. The parts with Nor was a bit of a bore for me, other than that, its a fun read.

Okay so I picked this book up because of Sasha. I love and adore her and her youtube channel.
I liked this book. It was a fun and wild adventure in space and I definitely enjoyed it. So first of all thank you, Sasha and Lindsay for putting all this work, love and effort into it.
There were lots of very different characters, with complex background stories and just little details that made them interesting on their own. I'm not a fan of many small chapters, so that kinda bugged me. And the general story of the book was just rather unsurprising and kinda uneventful for me.. But I'll definitely pick up the second book! Maybe just more because of Andi and Dex than the story.

At first I was a bit apprehensive about the fact that this was co-written and that it's about space pirates (neither are things I'm really into reading). But Zenith Part 1 blew me away! I couldn't even tell that two different people were writing; it flowed so well. The space pirates plot ended up sucking me in, and reminded me a lot of Star Wars and also faintly of the graphic novel series Saga. I think Andi will end up being an amazing heroine throughout the book(s) and I'm excited to see where this is going! The only critiques I have are that some lines/scenes were kind of cliché, and there were maybe one too many similes. I have to disagree with other reviews that are saying there was too much info/info-dumping. There was a lot of information, yes, but I didn't think anything was confusing or too complex for a new reader to understand. All information was very simply put and to the point. All in all it was an exciting, captivating read. Congratulations Sasha and Lindsay on a great first installment!

For me, Zenith was a book that I was highly anticipating as I am a fan of Sasha's YouTube as well as being really interesting on the premise. Zenith was a solid read with a captivating storyline that will keep you hooked throughout.

Zenith has been quite controversial with the editor but I don't think it was quite problematic but I have seen some critic of the PTSD in the book so please look for own voices reviews if this is something you would like to know more details.

I feel like the plot of Zenith is the main draw and it was a story that I enjoyed a lot and I did not see some of the plot points coming. I do feel like some of the plots was lacking in places however this was something that I didn't enjoy as much. The premise if this book also does wrap up quite early on in the book which was not what I expected but I did like where the story goes and want to see where it goes in the future.

I also did enjoy the characters but I think that my favourite character was Dex or Lira who is the most developed of the side characters. Saying that I do feel like the rest of the crew where really underdeveloped which is a major problem because if we are based on the crew I would love to see them all developed. We also have Andi who I have seen to be compared to Throne of Glass this is not something that I disagree with. I do feel like the only characteristics that she has are really deadly or just nice and that is it. I think for the main character she was not developed but I still found her a good character.

I had seen a lot of the writing for this book and it was fine. I couldn't tell who wrote what and that is definitely a good thing. The parts of the writing I really didn't like were that it was repetitive in done parts and every time Andi did something bad she had to be called the Bloody Baroness and there are only so many times you can read that phrase before you start to get annoyed. It could have been edited more if I am honest.

The Verdict:

Overall, Zenith was a highly enjoyable read that can feel repetitive in places but is still worth the read especially if you are a fan of Sarah J Maas.
